Sonar apartments is a true family company that started in the nineties by Didi Arnold, a lady known for her passion for the real estate world. The office, which was then situated at the ‘Princelandt’ yard, was famous for its unrivalled service. Didi has helped many owners and tenants with passion.

By continuously scanning the market and a drive to keep the service level high (by being available 24/7 for possible questions), Sonar Apartments differentiated itself from all other rental real estate agents in the The Hague area. In the next 15 years, Didi has supported many loyal landlords and tenants. This has formed Sonar Apartments into one of the most renowned and valued property managers in The Hague!

Some years before her well earned retirement, Didi’s son Roderik Izaks has taken the reigns. Shortly after Sonar Apartments moved to the now well-known location on Gevers Deynootweg 126. The choice to take over the company was not very hard for Roderik; After studying at the hotel school and with his experience in the hotel and restaurant branche, great service are one of his top priorities. His goal was to maintain the growth and continuity of service. Roderik was determined to continue the unique concept that Sonar Apartments had been known for.

Today, Sonar Apartments has grown considerably and with a  strong and loyal team we continue to offer services to many real estate owners and tenants in the The Hague area.
